El gobierno recibió las ofertas de empresas nacionales y extranjeras que decidieron participar en el proceso de licitación de 250 megavatios de energía renovable.Se recibieron 50 ofertas y la gran mayoría de propuestas es de energía hidroeléctrica, pero también eólica, geotérmica y la producida por biomasa.
